In a series entitled 12 shoes for 12 lovers; Chilean born, London raised and New York-based artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz created 3D printed shoes for an exhibit currently on display until January 6th, 2014 at the Melissa pop-up shop in Miami.
Each shoe design is accompanied by an anecdote about the relationship that inspired it (some of the descriptions include profanity and NSWF photos). In an interview with Core77 Sebastian says his favourite design is ‘Cry Baby’ and that constructing each model in CAD was extremely time consuming and coming up with 12 different and decent ideas required at least 100 bad ones. You can find the complete interview here.
